- Biography
Toby Vandenack first visited Paris in the 1970's along with a student group when he was nineteen-years-old. The sights and sounds of Paris were profoundly influential to Vandenack as a young
photographer. Vandenack’s photographs have been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications, including a showing of his Paris photographs along with works by the Russian-born French
painter Marc Chagall (1887-1985) at the Miller Art Museum in Door County, Wisconsin. Self-taught, Vandenack had his first retrospective exhibition when he was thirty-years-old at the Neville
Public Museum in his hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Reproductions of select Vandenack images are marketed worldwide by fine art publisher Art
in Motion.
